Red Ribbon Week

This is Red Ribbon Week so show your support of Drug Awareness by getting involved.

Monday: Wear Something Red

Tuesday: Look to the future! Wear your favorite college or White Oak T-Shirt.

Wednesday: Keep your head on straight-don’t do drugs! Wear a hat.

Thursday: Peace and hugs instead of drugs! Wear tie dye and/or bring a stuffed animal.

Friday: Spook out drugs! Wear Halloween costume. ( No masks or handheld props allowed. Costumes must follow dress code.)

This week in class:

Reading: We will continue guided reading groups and will reevaluate levels. Our word-work will focus on Alphabetical Order to the first letter. Spelling words this week are but, what, all, were, and when. The test will be on Friday.

Math: We will continue using shapes in our math stations while we also go deeper into subtraction problem solving and computation.

We will continue to apply what we have learned in our writing. We are working on capitals, punctuation, spaces, and applying our sight words.
