Red Ribbon Week

There is a lot going on this week at the Primary. I hope everyone participates in Red Ribbon Week to support Drug Awareness.

Guided Reading: Reading Groups will continue and levels will be adjusted according to growth.

Math: Students will explore 2-dimensional shapes with continued spiraling of problem solving, addition and greater numbers to 100.

Writing/Spelling: New spelling words will be sent home on Monday with the test set for Friday. Writing will focus on why everyone should always stay drug-free.

Word Work: Alphabetic Order to the first letter.

Social Studies: Drug Awareness

Red Ribbon Week:

Monday: Wear RED

Tuesday: Wear dress-code appropriate PAJAMAS

Wednesday: Wear sports or COLLEGE SHIRT and crazy SOCKS

Thursday: Dress like a SUPER HERO

Friday: Wear NEON

Upcoming dates to remember:

Oct. 26: Report cards go home. Return signed the next day.

Oct. 31: Halloween/Costume Day for Students

Nov. 1: Early release at 11:30/Staff development

Nov. 6-10: Canned Food Drive

Nov. 15:  Fall picture retakes

Nov. 20-24: Thanksgiving Holiday
